About this registry
This site is an independent, search-first mirror of the FAA Releasable Aircraft Database — the public dataset listing every aircraft registered in the United States. It is not affiliated with the FAA.
What you can look up
- Any U.S. tail number (N-number) — owner, location, make, model, engine, certification history
- ADS-B / Mode S hex codes for transponder-equipped aircraft
- Fleet data by manufacturer or specific model
- All aircraft registered in a given state
- Every aircraft registered to a named owner
Data source & refresh
Every record comes from the FAA Releasable Aircraft Database, available for public download at faa.gov. The FAA updates the dataset daily; this site re-ingests weekly. The date of the most recent record update is shown on each N-number page.
Corrections
If a record is wrong, the correction must start with the FAA — we mirror the federal data exactly. The FAA registration records system is at registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry.
